Dr. Montañez was born in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, and spent 21 years living in Juarez, Mexico. Her passion for medicine led her to study at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), where she completed her medical degree in 2005 and earning recognition as the "Intern of the Year" during her internship at IMSS.

After fulfilling her social service requirement in Sauzal, Chihuahua, Dr. Montañez relocated to El Paso, Texas, in 2003. She completed her residency training at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program, where she graduated in 2018 and was honored as "Team Player of the Year." Leslie continued to work as faculty at the same program for two years, where she also served as the director of the MMC Infusion Center.

Board-certified in Family Medicine and a proud member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, Dr. Montañez currently serves the El Paso community. Additionally, she is a faculty member at the Christus Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where she mentors residents and helps shape them into exemplary physicians. Her work extends beyond teaching; she also advises nurse practitioners who care for immigrants while working with U.S. Border Patrol.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Dr. Montañez has been married for 21 years and is a proud mother of one son. She enjoys traveling and going to the movies in her spare time.

Dr. Medrano is a Family Medicine Physician with over 20 years of experience, a proud mother of three daughters, and a passionate advocate for life balance and healthy habits. Born in Culiacán, Mexico, she was raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

Dr. Medrano completed her Family Medicine residency in 2017 through the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program in Las Cruces, NM, where she was honored as Intern of the Year and served as Chief Resident. She is deeply committed to Women's Health, Preventive Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management.

Her mission is to partner with families in the border region to help them lead healthier, happier lives. Additionally, Dr. Medrano is passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, sharing her knowledge and experience to support students in their own journeys, and serving the El Paso community as a hospitalist in a local hospital.

Iskra I. García, FNP-C, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Texas, dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients across all stages of life. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Iskra graduated from Loretto Academy in 1996 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2004.

With nearly 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she concentrated her practice in women’s health, serving her community with dedication and compassion. In 2023, she achieved her master’s degree, transitioning into the role of Family Nurse Practitioner. Today, she is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care to the El Paso community she calls home.

Iskra is also a proud mother of two teenage daughters, both of whom are aspiring to enter the healthcare field. An avid animal lover, she firmly believes that lifestyle choices and preventive care are the cornerstones of good health.
